Each year I look forward to the blooming of a tree which grows in
a wooded area behind my house. I don't know its name, but I call it an orchid tree.
Lovely the way they hang over the fence, don't you think?
I almost did not take this photo, because the leaves
weren't perfect. But beauty does not have to mean perfection.
I like the way this image captures the light on the leaf.
It was losing its color, but not its will to hang on.
Look not down, but up!
